For transformation leads
As-is process map before transformation
The as-is is the baseline for the business case. You cannot size benefits or plan the move to a future state against a process nobody has drawn. ThinkPrior drafts that map from the documents your teams already have.

01 · See today before you redesign it
Why map the as-is before a transformation?
A transformation that starts without an as-is map argues about a process nobody has drawn.
The business case needs a baseline: the steps, handoffs, and decisions that benefits will be measured against. ThinkPrior produces that drawing from SOPs, transcripts, policies, decks, and recordings, so the program can see the current state before it redesigns it. Gaps stay in the open where the documents never explained a handoff or a decision.
Leaders still choose what to change. The map is the picture they argue from, not a target-state design.
Baseline
Size benefits against the process you run today.
~70%
Gaps stay open where a handoff or decision was never written down.
02 · What the pile can and cannot support
What does the map show?
The map shows steps, branches, actors, and handoffs that the document pile supports, plus the gaps it does not.
A seam between two documents of the same process is drawn as an ordinary arrow. The same outcome described twice is one ending. Two reviews that share wording but belong to different actors stay two steps.
Inferred steps are marked, so a workshop can challenge them. The analyst confirms scope before that detail is treated as the engagement's process list. Workshops then argue about one drawing instead of competing whiteboards.
Seams
Two documents of one process become an ordinary arrow.
Actors
Shared wording with different owners stays two steps.

What does ThinkPrior refuse to decide?
What to change. The team decides which path to improve, which role to move, and which system to replace.
The map without an analyst. An analyst finishes the seams before the draft is treated as the as-is.
What the ERP logged. That is a process-mining question, and teams can run it beside this map.
